Turks and Caicos weather is an incredibly wonderful balm for someone from Montreal, Canada...especially during the Winter months!
I arrived at the Providenciales airport January 18th at 2:30 pm. The sun was shining full and bright and the jeans I had worn for the plane trip were feeling a bit hot.
I basked in the sunlight while I waited for John to pick me up and I felt my whole body just completely relax. It's like the sunshine and amazingly fresh air were permeating my insides and washing away the cold and gray of the winter I had left behind.
My favorite morning greeting to John each day was, "It's another beautiful day in the neighborhood!" On average that's the kind of Turks and Caicos weather you'll get when you visit these Caribbean islands.

Remeber to bring your sunglasses with you wherever you go! Otherwise you'll have to do the squinty-eyed thing John is doing in this photo!
We didn't use the air-conditioning once during the five weeks that I was there. There were deliciously cool breezes at night and warm winds during the day.
I even wore a light sweater two nights as I felt a bit chilly! Crazy, huh...it was 21 degrees celsius and I felt cold, if I'd been back home, I would have been wearing shorts and a tank top.
The average temperature while I was there was about 80 and sunny during the day and 74 at night. It was heaven to my sun-starved body!
Records show that most of the rain that falls in Turks and Caicos is during the months of October and November.
Providenciales (where Grace Bay beach is) averages less than 45 inches of rain.
While I was there it rained twice...both rainfalls were very light and intermittent.
North Caicos gets the most rain and as such it is greener than the other islands. Middle Caicos gets about 45 inches of rain per year, about 5 less than North Caicos.
Grand Turk and South Caicos receive the least amount of rainfall annually, averaging about only 21 inches.
November and December report the most amount of rainfall so you may want to visit during the other months especially if you are only coming for a week.
Turks and Caicos weather averages about 350 days of sunshine though so I wouldn't worry too much about being rained out!
The winter/spring months in Turks and Caicos would be from November to May and the temperature averages anywhere from 80 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit (27 to 29 Celsisus for Canucks like me!)
During the summer and fall season, which is between June and October, the Turks and Caicos weather average temperature rises to about 90 degrees Fahrenheit and goes into the mid 90s starting in August. But because of the southeasterly trade winds the heat is pretty bearable, especially on the beach.

I figure, as long as I have a body of water like this one that I can jump into I can stand the heat!
Hurricane season in Turks and Caicos is from June through October. Statistically though the more southern of the Caribbean islands are hit more often than the T&C islands. Satellite forecasts can be counted on to give advanced warnings so that the necessary precautions can be taken.
Check out this free hurricane guide ebook which will tell you what you need to do to prepare if a hurricane warning is in effect.
August and September are considered the peak months in which a hurricane may hit so plan your trip accordingly.
With very few exceptions I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that the Turks and Caicos weather forecast will be bright and sunny.
