Turks and Caicos diving holidays are becoming a must for many scuba divers. With one of the largest coral reef systems in the world, you'll never want to come up for air!
With deep and shallow waters, healthy coral and an abundance of marine life, plus a migrating line for Humpback, Manta Ray, Turtles and Dolphins, diving here can be both exciting and educational.

During the Winter months, about 2,600 Humpback Whales migrate to Mouchoir Bank just southest of the Turks and Caicos Islands. If you’re lucky enough to be there during that time, you might get the chance to hear the whales singing!
Grand Turk Island is sheltered from heavy currents and in the summer is the gathering place for Manta Rays. It is surrounded by walls with under hanging gardens of sea fans, sponges and coral, and because of the beautiful clear water provides excellent visibility.
There are many diving clubs on the islands, and for first time diver’s equipment can be hired and instruction given by experienced divers.
Other important caribbean diving destinations in Turks and Caicos are Salt Cay, North Caicos, South Caicos and Provo.
At Salt Cay there are numerous sites to explore which include Black Coral Canyon, which has a gorge carved into the face of the wall. Black coral, yellow and rope sponges can all be seen here.

Turtle Gardens has fields of beautiful coral and hawksbill turtles. At Point Pleasant eagle rays and nurse sharks can be seen. At Endymion you will be able to investigate an un-salvaged 18th century British warship.
The caribbean scuba diving around Provo is really spectacular and rare fish such as the fly gurnard can occasionally be seen.
Many of the dives are wall dives where angel fish and flamingo tongued snails can be found. Every part of the wall is teaming with life, so there’s no need to travel far from the boat as there’s just so much to see in one small area.
It’s amazing how many Turks and Caicos diving sites can be found on these islands, all offering great experiences and different varieties of marine life from the smallest fish to the largest creatures in the sea.
